Yesterday I visited the grand city itself, London. I was seriously excited in the morning whilst choosing my outfit (god I am so indecisive!) and when putting my makeup on. I kept thinking of all the clothes I would be buying, especially from the enormous Topshop on Oxford Street, and all the celebrities I could potentially meet (yeah I knew that would never happen!)
The train journey there was actually okay as I had my ipod, phone and magazines to keep me company; However half way through I realised that I basically no phone battery left and had to turn it off. Out of all the things I decided to charge and prepare last night, I couldn't remember to charge my bloody phone... How typical of me. My brother was trying to get hold of me for two hours so he would know where to meet me at Paddington Station. All my family were trying to get hold of me and were stressing out because they couldn't. When I turned my phone on 10 minutes before I arrived, I had about 20 missed calls and like 10 messages! Uh Oh.
Basically I had an amazing day with my brother, however I didn't buy nearly as much I thought I would. I felt bad for dragging my brother around the shops all day. We had lunch in a massive glass building which was pretty amazing; we travelled around London by the tube and I was absolutely terrified; and Oxford street was flipping incredible!
The train journey back however was an absolutely nightmare. The train I was suppose to be getting back was cancelled, so hundreds of people, including me, had to cram onto the next train. Everyone started sprinting towards the train trying desperately to get a seat or at least a standing space. I had to stand in the train doorway in the middle of a group of people so I had nothing to grip on to. I was constantly falling onto people and I think I annoyed a lot of people, but hey ho I couldn't help it.
